I didn’t start Growth Atelier CPA to build just another accounting firm.
I started it because I kept seeing the same pattern: growing businesses reaching a pivotal stage — revenue increasing, projects expanding, teams getting larger — yet their financial systems hadn’t evolved with them. The numbers existed, but clarity didn’t. Margins were harder to see. Cash flow felt tighter than it should.
I knew there was a better way.
From Compliance to Financial Leadership
My career began in public accounting, where I developed deep expertise in tax, compliance, and financial discipline. Precision mattered.
Over time, I moved into senior finance and fractional CFO roles, working directly with leadership teams on budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic planning. That experience showed me how powerful financial clarity can be when it’s connected to real operational decisions.
Growth Atelier CPA was built on that dual perspective — rigorous compliance paired with practical financial leadership.

I work closely with architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms, where financial discipline at the project level directly impacts profitability.

Bonnie has 10 years of experience in Deloitte’s Tax Department, Global Employment Services team, serving Chinese, Canadian, and U.S. cross-border clients on international tax planning, compliance, and cross-border business structures.
Bonnie works closely with Canadian local businesses, providing corporate tax services, financial reporting support, and assistance with business financing and bank loan applications. Her expertise includes project accounting for Toronto multiplex and real estate development projects, CMHC financing, corporate structure design, tax planning, and HST rebate services.
Bonnie is a graduate of the University of Birmingham (UK) with a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance.
In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys reading, singing, and dancing, as well as hosting social gatherings to connect with people, share ideas, and build meaningful relationships through both professional and personal experiences.
Brian Luu

Brian has 15 years experience in project accounting and cost variance analysis within the architectural, interior design, engineering, and construction industry.
Works with project team to ensure that corporate procedures and established best practices are followed throughout all phases of a project.
Brian is a graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and major in Economics.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys travel, exploring other cultures, playing tennis, badminton and volleyball.
Queena Wang

Queena has 20 years experience in project accounting and cost variance analysis within energy development.
Providing creative solutions to complex accounting problems.
Preparing financial statements, balance sheet, income statement, and other reports as needs.
Coordinating requested information and supporting internal control process according to the requirement of senior management.
Queena is a graduate from Henan University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and major in Accounting.
In her spare time, Queena enjoys travel, reading, and cooking.
Mubai Li

Mubai is a business development professional specializing in multiplex acquisitions and construction financing across the Greater Toronto Area. He has hands-on experience with CMHC MLI Select financing, loan draw administration, and development underwriting.
He combines a quantitative finance background with practical deal execution, from site analysis through closing.
Mubai is currently a student of Actuarial Science & Financial Mathematics at McMaster University.
In his spare time, Mubai enjoys playing tennis and watching hockey.
